Not the oilpatch but the power industry has been taking it in the teeth lately. Capital went through a brutal round late last year and as Transalta absorbs Heartland there are cuts happening there too. It's a small industry headcount wise so to have the big players do this in parallel is rough.

I think Veren is gonna have a bloodbath this week if Whitecap replicates what it has done in previous takeovers. It was 85% of people at NAL in that takeover.
