Will probably suck but could be good, I'll watch it.

Looks awesome. Legacy was awesome too. Leto is a minus. NIN is a plus. The soundtrack of Legacy is a big part of why it's awesome and it looks like they knew that going into this.

We’ll see. Superman is not talking raccoons or walking sharks. It’s a comic book character so can’t take it too seriously, but it’s an iconic character that people have grown up with. I’m not so sure it’s a blank canvas that you can do anything you want with tonally and expect it to be well received.

I feel like looking at Superman through this lense is hindering the character, and a big reason why many of the films he's in are so uninspired.

Many weird choices in Superman movies. Like why is Lex Luthor played for laughs so often?
The best Superman movie of all time gave him some credible enemies and an interesting side plot. Not hard IMO.

My guess is the Matrix over again which takes away from the original premise of a fantastic world living in computers

That being said, I love good graphics and good scifi so I'll watch it

I’m not really sure which movie you’re even referring to. Superman 2? Superman? We can’t possibly be talking about man of steel.

I think Anderson has finally lost whatever tiny, tenuous grip he had on reality.

I feel like at this point Wes Anderson is trying to out Wes Anderson himself

It's nice to see that he has finally corrected an egregious oversight in his casting decisions over the years, and included Richard Ayoade in his cast. I can't think of a more perfect fit than between Wes Anderson and Richard Ayoade.

Yeah I watched the trailer and find myself stuck in this vast neutral zone between being intrigued and....WTF was that???

Superman 2. The side plot with giving up his powers, the phantom zone guys as the baddies. Still too much Lex for laughs but otherwise solid film.
