He was never my favourite player and by the end of 2023 I wanted him gone. Glad I was wrong about that. In 2024 he played his role excellently was a big part of the team. He will be missed.
An increased opportunity for Daley and someone else to step into the midfield behind Shome and Gutierrez now

Heard a few months ago that he would be retiring but figured that would be after the season as his contract was expiring then. His farming business has taken off lately and I know they just bought a warehouse.
Good way to go out winning a trophy and scoring against Pumas. Club legend

Love that he's running that business, I've had conversations with him about it in the past and it's a really cool idea; I hope him and his sister see tremendous success doing it. On a related note, would love to see urban vertical farming take off in Calgary; the more we can grow locally and sustainably the better.
Idea for Charlie: provide mushrooms to Spruce Meadows and sell different types of mushroom snacks and foods available during Cavs games! Call the stand, "MyCavalry, MyCology"
This is a good thing, although I think the impact of being on cable is not as big as more people cut cable.
Yup, this is my belief as well.
When I was back in Calgary last week, I stayed with my sister and her family comprised of late Generation X parents and late Generation Z kids. Although they have cable, none of them channel surfed.
With the way in which media is increasingly consumed, matches being aired on TSN will help but the league should be looking at the Kings League to see how they can effectively and efficiently tap into potential markets.

A friend of mine is the GM/Coach of the Foothills League One team and he reached out asking if I could spread the word about sponsorship. Could also be donation for silent auctions or raffles, etc...anything to help on the fundraising side.
Another area would be billeting. They've signed some good athletes, but need to place them. They would pay $600-700/month so there's nothing really out of pocket.
Let me know if you're interested and I can put you in touch. Could be for the girls or boys L1 teams.
Bump! I'm helping coach the League One (Foothills) team and we could still use the help with billeting for a few players, in case anyone is interested. Would only be for a few months, and as mentioned, expenses would be covered.
And if you have young kids that like soccer, we'll make sure private training with the player in your backyard or basement is part of the package.
Send a PM if you're interested. It's a really talented group.
Away kit will be unveiled at tomorrow's supporters night. Based on the teaser it looks to be dark green.
Would be nice to see a good turnout for this. I’ll be heading over with the wife, would be great to see some of you there.

Not in the cards for me tonight but I think it would be great to do a CP meetup before a game. Get to Spruce ~45 minutes before the game and do some meet and greeting. I assume we've all met half of us already without knowing it
