Yes at least 5 on 5.

It’s a good thing. The wonder twins rack up 2nd assists from pucks glazing their jersey.

Just rewatching highlights from the NYR, NJ and NYI games. Take the day off boys. You earned it.

Those were incredible efforts. Unbelievable.

Now...keep it rolling! Sticks on the ice and elbows up! You guys just rag-dolled the entire Eastern Seaboard.

It means that he is full marks for the points he has - no freebies

The Flames don't score much. If they did, he would have a few more primary assists, and probably 5 to 10 secondary assists. He is sitting at 55 points, but based on his play, he should have 65 or more at this point.

Four points in five games is not PPG.

And he's like 0.95 ppg in the AHL so more or less there too.
Are you seriously claiming that scoring a point per game in the AHL is an indication that you will score a point per game in the NHL?

If you need a claim like that to make your argument work, you have no argument. Give it up.

Not at all. Please read better.

I'm saying that, to this point this season, he's done it at both levels.

You were saying it's an unrealistic expectation and I'm saying well *so far* he's lived up to it, even if sustaining that at the NHL is unrealistic.

Ultimately it just goes to show that he's probably the top candidate to chip in offense for us and we should consider using that.

It means that he's been playing with line mates who can't drive or sustain a play. They're basically only scoring because he sets them up in situations in which they can't possibly miss. A secondary assist would indicate that one of his line mates actually did something to sustain a play that eventually lead to a goal, which has only happened once all year (shocking, when you think about it). How Huby could even have as many points as he does with zero help from his line mates is beyond me.

Essentially, whatever line mates he's been with, with one exception all season, he's been the only one driving the line.

I think it was another example of Kadri being himself, a little selfish and always trying to push the play. This is one of those times where it worked out for us.
The way the flames lackadaisically went for a shift change leaving Kadri alone almost looked like an intentional set play. Looked like all three Islanders were confused leaving Kadri an open lane

I don't see any posts talking about what kind of coach Huska is. I guess it only comes up when we lose?

Except that he hasn't. He had a hot first couple of games, and after that he played himself out of the NHL lineup. In the AHL he has been just short of it.

You could have made that point without exaggerating his production, and certainly without implying that PPG in the AHL translates into high scoring at the NHL level.

Frost was gassed after being out there for awhile, and just had a breakaway chance. Nothing intentional about the slow change. Dobson was gassed chasing Frost.

I like how the top 3 lines should shape up once everyone is healthy:

Zary-Kadri-Posposil
Huberdeau-Frost-Coronato
Farabee-Backlund-Coleman

I think the chemistry works well in this setup. I know Sharangovich is kissing in the top 9 but the way he’s playing, he shouldn’t be in the top 9 once everyone is healthy. I would love for him to find his game again but he has not shown much this season.

The 4th line is still a weakness and I’m not sure if there is an easy solution this season at this point because I think Rooney is the biggest weakness of the 4th line and there is no replacement right now except for maybe Morton or Bishop.

It's actually pretty bad luck that he doesn't have 5-6 more points off of secondary assists just kind of by accident.

At this point, I'd put Sharangovich as 4C and alternate between Hunt and Rooney depending on who is playing better.
