Where are you seeing this? MacKinnon has averaged 23:04 per game this season, McDavid 22:10, Draisaitl 21:45. The only one of the four to average 25 minutes is Makar, and defencemen normally play more minutes than forwards.
There's also the issue that players with that kind of endurance are basically freaks of nature. Most professional athletes, even most NHL players, can't handle that many minutes for extended periods without seeing their performance suffer.
The other factor in all this is that teams don't practise on game days. If you're playing 10 games in 16 days, or whatever that number was, and travelling as well, you're not getting much practice time to correct your mistakes.
