Next year's salary cap is projected at $92.5 million. That's enough to pay a 23-man roster an average of $4 million each. On a good team, I would expect most players in the top half of the roster to be paid significantly more than that.

I agree with you that Vegas will have to find a solution in goal, which, of course, means dabbling in voodoo. Could get ugly if they give a big contract to the wrong guy.

Pretty good deal if he stays healthy. If there is a NMC, he might end up being Vegas's all time games played leader for a good while. He'll likely be the last original Golden Knight.

VGK is going to have 14 players signed for $71M. If cap goes to $92M, then they would have $21M to sign their depth remaining 6-8 players. That's plenty of money.
