Judge Nothing bass player "Flea" passed away, but I can't seem to find a cause of death. It has actually caused some confusion on the internet because people were posting that the bass player known as Flea has died, which obviously makes people assume Flea from the RHCP. If you see those rumours on social media, you can ignore them.
Anyway, Mont "Flea" Bodine was the bass player in a three piece pop punk rock group that started in the late 80s and found some success in the 1990s. There were still performing until fairly recently. Although they never found huge mainstream success, they often were the supporting act on other big ticket tours like Green Day, Fugazi, Bad Religion, and others.
I saw them at a festival way back then and wondered why they weren't bigger. It was weird to me. Apparently they did turn down record deals and chance for greater promotion because they didn't want to leave their town or be away from their families for too long. They were one of those bands that many people never heard of, but have the respect of other bands.

No confirmation from official sources, but Sean O'Shea has picked up the news.
After he was stalking his CityTV reporter ex-girlfriend I hadn't heard from him until randomly coming across a picture of an appearance with the mayor a couple weeks back. He looked really run down and aged.

I recall years ago he came out as having hepatitis which doesn't help the aging process.

According to the Globe and Mail:
One Direction singer Liam Payne found dead in Buenos Aires, local media reports
Former One Direction singer Liam Payne died outside a hotel in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires, local media reported on Wednesday, saying the 31-year-old British musician was found dead after falling from the hotel’s third floor. Citing officials, leading local newspapers La Nacion and Clarin reported that police were called to the hotel in the capital’s leafy Palermo neighbourhood responding to an emergency call that cited “an aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs and alcohol.” Ambulance workers later confirmed the death of the singer, who was found in an interior hotel patio, according to the news reports.
I remember that show and then he just disappeared. First time in long time I have even heard about him.
He got a massive pay day from Global to jump ship from CTV, where he had anchored down the late night talk show spot on the comedy network for three or four years by that point. He'd been doing fairly well and had got a fairly decent following despite stiff competition.
CTV replaced him with The Daily Show with Jon Stewart which ended up not only increasing the ratings for the time slot in the long run, but absolutely blew the new Mike Bullard show out of the water immediately. Global kept Bullard around for about a year before cancelling the show and moving on.
I watched one of those comic con type events where he and some others from the movie were at. I think this was in mid to late August, he definitely looked a bit frail from what I remember. But the Warriors movie is in my top 5 of all-time for sure. When my brother and I found out a lot of them were reprising their roles in the videogame adaption, we just had to buy it day 1, and we enjoyed it a lot as well.
