This should just be normal. Sub-0 temperatures have no business being a thing during this stretch of the year.
It does seem like calgary has felt more temperate of late.. by traditionally frigid southern Alberta standards.
I never remember hot October's being a thing in Calgary, but the last 3 years now we've had multiple 20+ degree days in mid October. Growing up in the Okanagan as a kid it was always warm enough on Halloween to be able to just go out in a costume, never had to worry about fitting it over a big jacket. I'd love if my kids could experience that here

I feel like my kids have experienced temperate Halloween's here for most of their lives. They've yet to have to go out dressed as "ski bums" like I remember doing a few times growing up.

I mean there was snow on the ground and it was pretty cold last year. My kids all wore their parkas
Yeah, looks like it’s snowed at least 2 of the last 3 years just before Halloween.
Of the last five years, there was one day above 2 degrees at Halloweening time and one day below freezing, but 4/5 days seem to have been in that -2 to 2 degree range.
I always think these flights are crazy, but then you never hear about them crashing, so maybe they know what they are doing? I dunno, I'd never get on one. Too much barf.

This morning: Milton at 145mph and 930mb after eye reconfiguration.
Now: 902mb, 185mph winds. I’ve never seen anything it. So now, it’s a larger storm with terrifying wind speed and category 5 storm surge. This could be catastrophic if it hits Tampa Bay. The saving grace was a north wind shear zone, but now it appears the wind shear may not be as damaging to the storm due to a tropical jet.

The most recent NHC update says 905mb and 165mph winds. I couldn't find 902 and 185 in any prior update.
On your earlier reply to my question you linked a live update link so whatever it was showing before isn't visible. I just want to make sure we're not throwing out exaggerated numbers just for shock value (because it's unfortunately too common on the internet).
