I've got some homebrewed pumpkin beer in my basement that I made 2 years ago. Cracked one to see if they were still drinkable. They're VERY drinkable!

How long can homebrew last? I tried making it when I was about 17. Although there was an inch of sediment in each bottle, we drank it all in under a week.

At age 66 I conquered my fear of being on stage in front of people. I tried Karaoke as a means of facing my fear head on. That was in the spring and now I do Karaoke 2 a week with a group friends. Of course there's no recording contracts in my near future but it's been quite a bit fun doing it

I've always thought it would be good for a year, but I guess it also depends on storage (I have a cool, dark, dank spot in the basement that's probably extending the life of it). This particular batch has lost some carbonation, but the flavor got stronger

2 main factors really play into beer storage (not home brew specific), type of beer and alcohol content. Dark beers like stouts, porters and dunkels last longer than lagers and the higher the alcohol % the longer it can be stored.

Take a look at some of the Belgian Trappist beers like Orval. Those can be bottle aged for years and (supposedly) taste fantastic 2+ years out. They are all darker and high in alcohol content.

i had to make a quick trip to the wreckers this morning to grab a part to fix a short in my old truck.
i got what i needed and on my way out i see a truck i hadn't checked on my way in. it was a 91 gmc so i knew i could grab a couple parts that would still be direct 'plug and play' into my 89 chevy. i opened the drivers door and it was like christmas morning - ha! the big score was the gauge-cluster. my truck had the old 'moonie' cluster before i dropped in a digital dash. i've always wanted a needle cluster but only a couple years are easy swaps and i really want one with a tach... which is kind of like finding a unicorn. well - i found my unicorn!! soooo pumped!! i likely won't get a chance to do the cluster swap until the new year, but whatever - i've got the parts so i'm super happy about that!

I saw Les Miserables in London last night. I've been wanting to go since 2011 since I saw the Hathaway Crowe movie of the musical. I had high expectations and yet it still blew me out of the water. It was a 10 out of 10 musical experience
