When washing your hands, water temperature doesn’t matter. You don’t benefit hygienically washing you hands in warm water as opposed to cold. It’s the soap that is more important.

I have my faucet valve hooked up to the light switch so any time the bathroom light is on, the water is running full blast until you flick the switch.

Because of these restrictions, I've resorted to ####ting in the dark and not knowing exactly when the wipe is clean.

Doesnt the heat of the water activate the soap? Thats why dishes are washed in hot water, same as hands, etc.

Cold is equally effective. Use the temperature you find comfortable

Soap is used for sanitization, not water. Warm water works better than cold for removing grease and food bits but does nothing for sanitization.

I take a shower after going 1 or 2. Not more than 3 minutes though.

Isn’t removing grease and oils from your hands one of the purposes of washing them? Even a small smear of mayonnaise or chicken fat on your hands can be health hazard.
