Tkachuk. The guy who "can't skate". Chases down McDavid on a breakaway.
That is worth a lot in itself.
Drawing some penalties. He took the puck to the net when oilers net collapse fire drill hardly lets anyone do
that.
He needs to do more, but F all?
He is a point a game guy with less than 19 mins a game unlike those around him on the leaderboard. He's 4th in scoring in points/60.
|
You may habe missed "in the finals" McDavid was also on the ice for nearly 2 mins before that breakaway. He was better in the third but hasnt done much. Panthers are still up 2-0.

My question is what Tkachuk said to McDavid when he caught up and got.up in his dome against the boards.....
Does he say....what were you thinking McD ....Bob owns you!!!
Or
In the voice of Golum....thats MY precious and you can'tS take it froms us!!!
Or
I'll put the lotion on the skin and give you the hose again!!!
Or
I'll take this as your formal surrender....Biiiiiiitttch!!!

Well, he did name his account after an Edmonton street.

I doubt the Panthers muck it up since they are leading the series. Now if it looks like they are losing game three you can put money on them going hunting like Drai did on Barkov. They always take their pound flesh when that happens.

Tkachuk and Reinhart haven't done a ton but Edmonton has 1 goal in 2 games and had zero high danger chances last night.
Things are being played very tight by Florida and it's working. Looking for individual offensive stats is the last concern anyone should have.
If these guys start missing checks, losing their men or getting hemmed in their own zones, then criticize their play; so far so good.

No suspension must mean that Barky is actually ok to play game 3…right?!?

Or winning. I doubt they are going to let that go for their captain who doesn’t engage in any of that nonsense.

Does that mean the "code" has been initiated? Does Draisaitl have to fight someone?

The Oilers media is absolutely embarrassing. Crying for penalties and posting videos of tiny little hits. Gregor and Staples have to be the 2 biggest morons in the media

The point was more they are up 2-0 without huge cintributions from either so things could get much worse for the Oilers. Tkachuk was legit bad in game one though...to the point his shifts were cut.
Anyway dont even care, just beat the Oilers

Even Kyper and Borne on 960 today were saying the BENNETT knee was worse than the Drai hit lol. SN is such a joke.

I always wonder in a situation like this if Bettman or someone else high up in the league calls the panthers management and gives them the choice:
“If Barkov is hurt and can’t play then I’ll suspend Draisaitl for a game. If you’d rather play Barkov then no suspension for Draisaitl. It’s your call.” If I’m the panthers and Barkov is good to go, I would probably go with the scenario where Barkov gets to play.
Obviously it would be very shady if this was the case but I could see it from this league. It should be as simple as looking at intent and what draisaitl did… and that should be enough to suspend him.
