I’ve decided to cheer for a winning franchise in hockey. Edmonton was more my vide anyways with the urine, meth and sweatpants (with good shoes). Cory Perry and Evander Kane are the kinds of people I want my kids to look up to. Not those clowns down south with “class acts” like Iggy and Lanny.

I think it's not a bad idea at this point to hop on the bandwagon. I'm at the point where I wonder if I should start cheering for them as it seems the more I want a team the win the more they lose. Maybe my bad luck can then rub off on them.

There is a lot of identity crisis going on in this thread.

It is ok to still hate the Oilers. It is ok to show your disdain. If it was the Flames in the same situation (I know, don't go there.) I would respect the Oiler fan who was unhappy about it more than the one who hopped on the bandwagon.
