My money is that Yakemchuk will rise throughout the season, he's too good and has it all, plus he's a righty. He didn't factor in too much at the U-18's, but he was in a lower role. The only real weakness of his that's talked about is his defensive play, which needs work- and that's true of most D his age.

Gotta love this kid. 25 points (14 goals) in 18 games, with 41 PIM.

The appealing thing about Lindstrom is that he actually seems to use his size. He uses to it keep others off the puck, and there are a few instances of him completely flattening other players. He's a bit less lanky than most other 6'5" 17 year olds. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being one of the heavier players in the league. Even his skating seems pretty decent for a player his size, based on what I've heard/seen. The combination of skating, size, and playmaking allows him to excel at skating the puck into the zone and then distribute it. He's pretty good at getting into optimal areas for goal scoring.
The defense needs work, but as a center, he'll naturally take some responsibility there. The skating, though solid, does have some room for improvement - agility might be a bit of a problem. My main concerns with him would be his generally hockey IQ and consistency. And unfortunately, these are pretty important aspects of a player's profile.
He has offensive awareness, but it's nowhere near the level of the guys at the top of the draft.
His line mate, Calgary boy Andrew Basha, 6'0" and 183 lbs, has the same points totals in the same games played, yet is currently ranked around 60th.

Lindstrom is currently 12th in the 'dub, with a stat line of 24gp/18g/14a/32pts,+7, 52 PIM. What a beauty.

Zayne Parekh could be a huge blueliner riser as well, love this clip from his hattrick a couple weeks back. First goal was a one time slapper, second was a nice 2on1 faker snapshot from the faceoff circle and the third was gorgeous blueline control and puck possession as he moved in and snapped it, looked like a powerplay goal the way he controlled the play.

Getting Celebrini, Iginla and Lindstrom would be huge for this franchise going forward.

Let’s compromise and say we’ll settle for the three.

Two Tigers in the top 34 plus McKenna tearing it up as a 15 year old.
That team is going to steam roll the dub the next couple years. They're already top 5 in the league now.

The Ruck twins (Liam and Markus) on a line with McKenna next year might be downright terrifying to play against; who knows if it happens. Lol
