Here is the problem with everytime someone brings up the Yotes is that the two players the Flames should be focused on in a Hanifin deal is either Guenther or Geekie at which point someone will pipe up and say they won't be available. That to me equates you can forget about Arizona getting Hanifin. Some 2nds that they have been collecting isn't cutting it, someone will pay up.

Wills was saying on the radio that Francis is reporting that the Flames have now put trades on hold? Look I can get behind not going full tank mode but I need this team to move their 4 UFA’s and hopefully a goalie for younger assets and futures. If there is only one guy you keep it is Hanifin but at $7.5M I still think he is better used as a trade asset.

Those are two guys that aren't privy to the inner machinations of Conroy. I always thought nothing would be done until the Christmas break, and I guess technically this follows that.
