If nothing else you’d think there would be 5-10 games of very high motivation to make big bad Darryl look like the bully they successfully ran out of town. But so far looks like to me Darryl lost the power struggle between our so called star players to get their way vs playing his system his way. Something he was never going to stop preaching no matter what. I know we’re missing Ras but really the team looks anemic and much the same attitude as last year. Sigh. I mean it hasn’t been all bad but last season wasn’t all bad either. Big Z said it, no more Darryl, no more excuses. Seemingly there still are some excuses amongst this group

I gotta say I feel kinda bad for being so right about Huberdeau through the first 4 games when he was point per game, but on the other hand, the attacks from those game threads have disappeared very quickly recently

I think there are a lot of things working against the team this season. The coaching staff is new and unproven. Having several key players on expiring deals simply can't be good for team chemistry. They traded their top scorer the season prior for a bottom six forward. All of that and the goaltending is still poor.
