It occurred to me this morning that I am the same age that my Dad was for the '04 cup run. He had a game pack, which back then gave him full playoff tickets if he wanted. He let me take the whole playoff package and he and I went to every game six together. Still one of my best memories of him.

I am interested in lost media. There are internet communities dedicated to tracking down media that people remember but doesn't exist anymore.
For example there are a a few dozen episodes of Dr.Who that have been thrown away so to speak.
In my own life, I am trying to find an old sci fi movie my Granny used to have a VHS of, its not lost per say, but lost to me, I haven't been able to track down any one who knows what I am talking about.

a bit more information might help.

It is old black and white possibly 40s maybe 50s? could be older then that still, hard to say I was young. I think it is a short film, or maybe I just remember the one part.
What I remember was some man being tormented by these glowing crystals on some alien planet until he learns that we can use them to make music. IIRC he used them like a piano.

ChatGPT has a couple options, but when I mention short movies it points you back to us.
Spoiler!
I'm looking for the name of an old black and white science fiction movie, the plot is a man being tormented by these glowing crystals on some alien planet until he learns that we can use them to make music.
ChatGPT
The movie you are referring to is likely "Forbidden Planet," which was released in 1956 and is a classic black and white science fiction film. While it's not exactly about a man tormented by glowing crystals, it does involve an alien planet and advanced technology. The plot revolves around a crew of astronauts who visit a distant planet and encounter mysterious and dangerous forces. The film features an iconic scene involving a machine that produces music using advanced technology, which might be what you're thinking of.
are there any other options?
ChatGPT
I apologize for any confusion earlier. It appears that my previous response was not accurate for the description you provided. Based on your description of a man being tormented by glowing crystals on an alien planet until he learns to make music with them, the movie you are looking for is most likely "The Day the Earth Stood Still," released in 1951.
In this classic science fiction film, an alien named Klaatu and his robot Gort arrive on Earth with a message of peace. There is a scene where Klaatu demonstrates the power of the alien technology, including the use of a glowing crystal-like device to create beautiful music. This film is often remembered for its thought-provoking themes and iconic scenes.
Are there any short movies that it might be?
ChatGPT
It's less common for short films to have the level of recognition and detail that would make them easily recognizable based on a brief description. However, it's possible that the movie you're thinking of could be a lesser-known or independent short film, which may not be widely recognized or documented.
If it's a short film, it might not be as well-documented as feature-length films. In such cases, it could be challenging to identify it without more specific information about the title, director, or additional plot details. You might consider reaching out to online communities or forums dedicated to science fiction cinema or seeking recommendations from individuals who have a deep knowledge of short films in the genre to help in your search.

Yes, it's possible that the plot you described could have been featured in an episode of the original "Twilight Zone" series. "The Twilight Zone" was known for its imaginative and often thought-provoking science fiction and fantasy stories, and it often explored unique and unusual concepts.
While I don't have access to specific episode details, it's worth checking the episode listings and summaries of "The Twilight Zone" to see if any of them match the description you provided. The series had numerous episodes with various themes and scenarios, so there's a chance that the story you remember is from one of its episodes.
How is it possible the creators of ChatGPT didn't include the full episodes of The Twilight Zone for it? Those, Back Mirror, Star Trek, Terminator..required training data for all super intelligent systems.
What is with recruiters in linkedin? They have no shame about asking if I want to leave my job for a much worse one at some rinky-dink company that pays less than half as much.

If you never ask a person if they want to dance you will never have a dancing partner.

Nah nah nah, you don't want to feed Star Trek to ChatGPT: it would violently self-destruct.
The Dellisio pizza thing is weird. This new brand "Rustica" appears to have basically copied every about Delissio down to the box graphics. It's available in Safeway and Walmart, while Superstore is still selling actual Dellisio al these months later.

Rustica used to make the Delissio pizzas for Nestle. They had to start using their own branding to keep the factory from closing.

I'm all on board off-brand, low rent, discount foods.
Like 'Non-Delicio' pizza! Its not delivery! And its sure as hell not Delissio. You'd be better off eating the box it came in...but dont knock it...its CHEAP!
Now...slurp your gruel!

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
While having a snack last night an incisor broke. When I fished the chunk out I briefly put it on the table. dog comes over and ate it before I could grab it.
Thing that sucks is the tooth really isn't going to be repairable and will likely be pulled.
Hillbilly smile coming up for me.

That sucks. Sorry to hear that.
Isn’t there a movie where the guy simply replaces it with a chicklet?
