This is because when Anderson on, all of the oppositions know he will just turn and pass it back, so they can just clog up the middle. He needs to carry the puck with speed push the opposition back and THEN pass it back. It's so frustrating.

A coach can’t shoot for you. A coach can’t tell you pass or get open. A coach can’t place you in front of the goalie. A coach can’t gain the attacking zone with possession. A lot of these abilities have to be instinctual at this level. These aren’t new and novel suggestions. These guys have been doing this their whole lives. IMO the personnel isn’t displaying synergy.
I do think that the team isn’t manifesting the message and that does indicate a breakdown in communication. I just think this group was fragile , it got worse and now are a complete mess. I’d be okay with a whole host of changes in this org. Sadly the contracts we signed kadri and Huberdeau to are now boat anchors and cannot be moved u less Pennie’s on the dollar.
