If he signs now and burns a year, his minimum guaranteed earnings is $517.5k and he'll still be 23 year old when his ELC ends in the 2025 off-season

I don’t know what his major is but coming out of Harvard that seems reasonable. More with with a graduate degree.

Yeah, Coronato is going to sign. The meat of the team has left.

For Harvard Business it is $70-$89k.

Though he has 2 more years of school for the degree. So its actually he will have the $500k in the bank and be on his next contract, when he would be taking the entry level job.

I wonder what the lines look with Coronato

Dube - Lindholm - Toffoli
Huberdeau - Backlund - Coronato
Mangiapane - Kadri - Coleman
Pelleiter - Lewis - Duehr

Huberdeau-Lindholm-Toffoli
Pelletier-Backlund-Coleman
Dube-Kadri-Conorato
Mangiapane-Lewis-Deuhr

I fully expect Coronato to sign in the next few days...but wouldn't it be on brand for this nightmare season if he informs us that he doesn't want to sign?

Ivy League schools don't offer free ride scholarships.

No - I’m saying the possibility of 1-3 months in the AHL at $80k is a small speed bump on the road to scoring 30 on the other side of Huberdeau and getting a $30M contract out of it.

Wrong!

Ivy League schools do not give scholarships.

They are given “grant in aid”, which is dependent on the family’s financial standing/ situation.

You staple Coronato to Backlunds hip and sort the rest out as it may. I do wonder if they work with him at the center ice position as well over the next year. See if that's something he can excel at in the NHL.
