Hahaha, well I just like Scotch. Truthfully, I don’t drink very often, so it’s more of a collection that I’ll try to get to “one day”.

Reading the OP I was like, how do you just have alcohol hanging around?
Then I thought about it and realized I'm in the same boat.
I almost never drink hard liquor. I have a bit in the basement, everything's opened I think. No idea when I'll get to it. Maybe once the basement is renovated I'll have a cocktail night or something?
Maybe throw a cocktail party. Get real juices and mix properly. Have a few friends over. Etc.
Otherwise the donate to a raffle is a great idea

Not worried about alcohol giving me cancer. Maybe the alcohol cancer will kill the tar ponds cancer and I'll live forever?!

It reminds me of my wedding, we provided all of the booze for our reception and we tried to have a broad array of drinks.
I had several bottles of Vermouth in my liquor cabinet for years along with some other stuff that we were never going to drink.
I assume my wife poured it down the drain at some point.

I’ve gotten into cocktail mixing in the last month or so and I gotta say — it’s surprisingly easy and beats paying $15-20 for a cocktail downtown.
Plus some of the drinks are tasty AF. I found the recipe for Bridgette Bar’s Rolling Canoe and I’ve never been through a bottle of rye so fast.

I had a bunch of rando bottles with like a 3rd left for some reason...I combined them by liquor
All the different brands of Whisky into one bottle
All the Vodka into another ect.
Everything ended up in the bottles of the "good stuff"
lets see if anyone notices...I highly doubt it

Mix them all together in the bathtub, bottle it nicely, and sell it to college students as Old Man Texas' All Dressed Party Medicine

This. I've got about a dozen empty bottles in my work room that I intend to put ships into.

So... you do an infinity bottle without telling people you do an infinity bottle?

Ah the #### mix, I remember it well from Grades 9,10,11,12
Going to friends' houses and taking a bit from each bottle until the bottle you had was full.
Many a scary night....

Vermouth makes great cooking wine for soups, meat sauces, gravy etc

I have some bottles that have gone with me to 5-6 different moves.
Every time, I'm packing up the super heavy liquor bottle box for moving and wondering why I still have that Bacardi white rum from 15 years ago.

I still have the remains of a bottle of Sour Puss that I was forced to drink at my Stag party...20 Years ago.
I should really get rid of that.

You have grown kids, right? It was probably replaced with water and food colouring long ago.

Brewed tea is a great stand in for whiskey...
I remember being 15 or something and going to steal a little vodka. I tasted it, and it was all water. My brother had beaten me to it.

I've heard many of these stories, but it was Hennessy XO instead of whiskey and it wasn't a sibling it was the parents who filled it with tea to keep it as a display piece.

Yes, my dad did that with a Bowmore set he had. The Smirnoff vodka though? Nope, all brother.

Doubt it...
Too far back in the bar cupboard for them to even notice.
Might be separated sugar and water by now...
