But how do you not run with Vladar. Or at least 50/50.

He’s a machine now.

A number of the lines look good now. We don’t really have a top line per say. Which in my experience is harder to play against. Three solid lines vs one dominant line.

Just get the PP going and go on a run.

That Coleman goal was a beauty...the spin-o-rama 5-hole?

Huberdeau is the key to the PP. They need to start practicing some set plays based around him. There's lots of good puck movement, but the PP still looks so aimless.

That is very true. He's looked great on the 4th line.

Some guys just perform better in games and roles they should be in. You will never know until they get to play.

Lewis is good, he made the play on Walkers goal

Still hope we get to see what Pelletier can do soon. If he’s better than Duehr I might hyperventilate

Flames one point against Chicago was one more than the Avs got tonight. It really wasn't the end of days

Pretty good for a guy who "doesn't do much!" Liked that line tonight.

Right Dallas was the last wild card team to make the playoffs and it took 7 games

Tyler Foli on pace to set a career best for points this season (and more or less tie his career best points per game). How ‘bout that.

if only

Rooney (thankfully demoted), Lucic, Ritchie and Lewis (minus his PKing) are extremely replaceable

and the cheaper alternatives can bring dimensions to the game that none of those guys possess, like blazing foot speed and creativity

and they have upside to grow their game

no upside left in these vets

I just want to see us build a better product by teaching a young group if bottom sixers the ropes of the 200 foot game so we can enjoy some actual speed and skill after line 2

deferring to old guys who've seen their best days is such a lazy way to fill out your roster when you're signing 4 or 5 of them

less replacement level vets in the future please

watching zohorna, ruzicka and duehr down there has been incomparably more enjoyable

invest in the players you hand picked and developed

That’s how you win if your stars aren’t carrying the play. Good win and key was no soft goals. It would not have taken much for this game to swing the other way but it didn’t.

Man, do the Blues get away with a lot of interference. Big win, keep rolling boys!

They lapsed in the 3rd for a bit, last game, after blowing the lead, but I think overall, they were stronger defensively in the 1st one. It too, should have ended 4-1 with the empty netter.

That's what goaltending does.

If the team plays better in front of Vladar, then the answer is to keep playing Vladar. This isn’t rocket science.

Besides, he’s 6’5, 209 lbs… Sutter’s got no more excuses!

Lewis is criminally underrated. He has been excellent this year and one of our best in the playoffs last year. More guys like Lewis please.
