In the last month, the Flames have had two gross stinkers. One to Columbus where they only lost by two(with an EN) and in Washington where they were terrible.

Alot of good players, a few great players but no elite players.
We lack high end offensive talent.

Kind of expeceted as the only player with consistent PPG seasons is Huberdeau. Not sure if Sutters system muzzling him or he has lost it.

Yup. They lost a game to the Oilers and Sutter freaked out and changed every single line and ground any creativity out of the entire team over a long stretch of boring ass hockey.

The playoff loss to the Oilers didn't just break Markstrom, it broke Sutter too.

It took 6 games for Sutter to fully implement his system and get everyone on board.

Unless Vladar is in net there isn't a single player on this team that I find exciting to watch. There hasn't been anything close to a highlight of the night all season.

All that “great top 3 centers” talk this offseason was a farce.

Lindholm, kadri, backlund all look avg to sub avg, given their slotting.

Huberdeau is no good. He's not a top end, star of the team kind of player.

I didn't know much about weegar but do far he's not all that great either.

This ain't the year. How refreshing would it be to see the flames make some dramatic changes by the deadline looking more to the future

Hahaha so we have gone from just wait until the Flames play weaker teams because that's when they will make up ground TO at least the bad teams aren't smoking us?!?

If the top line was any good offensively, this team has easily 5 more wins this season. 30 games into the season, we've scored 3 goals with Huberdeau-Lindholm-Toffoli on the ice. Forget the goalies, forget special teams - this is the biggest issue with the team.

Kipper was brutal in shootouts, especially early on.

Getting real tired of being out-coached on a nightly basis. Darryl’s lineups and ice time leave a lot to be desired and the terrible starts reek of lack of preparation, both coach and players. His system is not playing to the team’s strengths like it was last year and he refuses to change it up for this roster. Square peg, round hole.

Reminds me so much of the Canadian division season. Flames look bored and checked out. No spark, no emotion. And our $6M goaltender consistently getting outplayed by much cheaper opposing goalies. Not fun to watch.
