I don't know if any of you caught The Captains on Netflix, but it highlighted/chronicled the head guys on a variety of teams, including Modric and Thiago Silva. As ugly as this game has been, it's still compelling to me, having gotten to know both of those guys a bit through the series.
Modric seems like a really good dude. Silva... So much pressure on the Brazilian team, and exponentially so for the captain.

It was a great goal but the keeper basically pulled himself completely out of the play.
