BT has a deadline of this weekend...has to pack up the family in the car and do the semi annual visit of all of dad's BP restraunts from here to Muskoga.

But that is not what happened. The Flames lost "a 24 year old #### disturber that can play for a guy that can play [even better] but is heading into his twilight," AND they also added a top-pairing defenseman, a solid centre prospect and a first round pick.

If you are going to complain about this, at least get the facts of the deal right.

The Flames win the Cup with Huberdeau, you will eat that crow raw and without salt, and you will goddam like it.

So that's why he went to Montreal to take Huberdeau to dinner. Last real food of the summer!

I still have a feeling that first round pick might be the most valuable part of this trade.

Hopefully by the time we are even thinking about the last few years of the cap hit, Cole Schwindt and future Flames 1st round pick from Florida are cushioning that effect.

Isn't it kind of hard to hold your stick while rubbing your hands?

As per CP tradition, pubes are also mandatory in some format, with bets such as this.

Betcha Montreal will pay a 1st and a prospect for a francophone locally born and raised stars.
