Why is this dude still here?

And why are you even here? Like what's your game?

Beat it and go back to HF where you can have your top 4 circle jerks all day long.

Pretty sure they’re getting off on it… or they’re legitimately insane, either explanation works

Let’s not get too bent out of shape if someone has a different opinion here.

And when they finally ran into a favourite, they got exposed with how behind they are that level of team by getting their asses swept, despite having McDavid and Crysaitl in their primes. That team should be better than that at this point in their careers.

Clock is ticking, better hurry up and get a Cup in that McWindow while they can, maybe 3-4 years left. Wasted so much time already..

I don't see anyone is bending out of shape here, we are all in shape.

Swept by the cup winner

If losing to good teams makes another elite, then the Leafs are flirting with dynasty status.

Who cares? Who remembers that? They lost, it doesn't matter if they went one more round than the Flames. Nobody is going to give a rats ass in the history of hockey.

There are different opinions shared every 2-3 posts (minimum) on a forum that gets hundreds of posts a day. Let’s put our thinking caps on and try a little harder to figure out what’s unique about this one.

What’s different is that I presented facts instead of opinions? Flames without Johnny will go nowhere and have to rebuild. I hope he re-signs but man it would be sad for the Flames to try and “compete” without him. Also yes, being top 3-4 in the NHL is elite, results speak for themselves regardless of opinions.

It's really not though, especially when it's a one off and you finished 11th in the regular season.

Over the last three seasons the Oilers have won 2 playoff rounds, and their .620 point percentage in the regular season ranks 12th. They have never won the division in the regular season with McDavid on the roster.

They have two elite players, but as a whole the team is good but not great. Had a good season but can't be considered an elite team yet.

Different opinion?

That moron just lumped the oilers in with the Avs, Lightning and Penguins like they're the same caliber of franchises....IE "elite"

And he did it on Flames board just to get a reaction, and of course the reaction came, because only an idiot would include the oilers in a group with those other teams and actually believe it.

And that win % is grossly inflated by the Covid year. They are a very mid pack team in the NHL irregardless of the two princesses.

They weren't a top 4 team guy

What was the record over the 82 game sample size? They got an easy first round and almost blew it...Healthy Doughty and they are one and done again. Calgary had their best defender injured and their goalie fell off a cliff (not to mention an assist from the league in game 5)

Got swept by the Avs whom the Blues beat twice, Panthers, Leafs, ect. Would have beat the Oilers
