I guess the question is which team would be a better option?
WPG? PHI?
TOR...?
WPG is strongest in goal...lots of question marks at forward. A juggernaut in their division, STL still looking strong, with MIN/DAL/NAS as competitive wildcards.
PHI has question marks everywhere, especially Couturier's health. NYR+CAR look legit for years to come, can't write off WAS/PIT/NYI, NJD coming soon, CBJ may not be far behind.
VGK has some risk/uncertainty, but they've actually got a lot of flexibility if they need to shore up certain areas.
They are in the weakest division - LAK on the come-up, but I think you're less scared of ANA/VAN/SJS/EDM than the 'competitive' teams I mentioned above. CGY has a tough off-season and hasn't had consistent success with this group.
Regardless, I'm sure he'd love to be the first guy to coach different teams to cups since Bowman, but Darryl is taking that distinction in about a month.
