All I can get

I'm sure the CSEC are well aware of this and the Reddit thread and are already formulating a damage control strategy.
This is the last sort of thing they want to see blow up right now... when there's heightened public interest in the team and garnering new fans.
Whether it'll be sincere remains to be determined.

This is disgusting! The ‘dome, red zone, red mile, etc should be a safe place for everyone to have a good time. Perhaps t-shirts (red), towels, etc with some sort of slogan on it that reminds everyone they have a responsibility to keep it that way?

I havent named names so it's not directed to anyone in particular. This is just based on probability.
If there isnt anyone in CP who harrasses females. Fantastic
If there is at least one person in CP who does, I'm glad this thread is out here for him to read

That’s debatable, but the fact that it even needs to be considered to attempt to address the problem is a pretty sad indictment of how little CSEC actually gives a damn about their staff.

If we’ve learned anything over the last two years, there are some fringe elements with extremely out dated thought processes (if they can be called that) everywhere, sometimes right under our noses.

It's unfortunately everywhere though. When I was in high school, a girl in our friend group used to work at a video store that was open late and always had creepers coming in and just lingering or waiting outside until close. She would call on us to go there and help her close all the time because of it. The real kicker was that one of the most persistent creepers was a cop.

You mean you didn't just find it flattering?
Obviously it shouldn't be dismissed, but perhaps her laughter was along the lines of "come back to me when this starts happening to you multiple times a day like women experience".

The big challenge here is most of these incidents are implicit, not explicit. Maybe we're getting a little bit better, but I don't think society is really ready to empathize with women/victims without a 'smoking gun' (and even then vocal victims open themselves up to a lot of disgusting further abuse).

A Calgary-based cardiologist accused of sexually assaulting a patient is now facing additional charges.
Michael Stephen Connelly, 65, was charged with one count of sexual assault after a patient came forward to police in October 2021 saying she had been touched inappropriately and without her consent during a 2012 consultation.
Since police announced the charges in February, four other people have come forward to report their experiences with the doctor.
Connelly now faces four more charges of sexual assault.
"Everyone should feel safe when seeking medical care," said Staff Sgt. Michelle Doyle with the Calgary Police Service (CPS) sexual assault investigative unit in a news release. "It is especially egregious when members of our community are victimized by an individual in a position of trust."
May is Sexual Violence Awareness Month in Alberta.

I felt it necessary as I wanted to tell the horrific story of my daughter being stalked and entrapped at a place other than the Saddledome.
Sorry I offended you!

This is an incredibly unfair comment.
I worked at the FanAttic for years through high school and university. Occasionally (but not regularly) we would have to deal with harassment or bad behaviour by drunken idiots - particularly the female staff. Concerts were the worst for this, hockey games were generally more tame.
In every case, behaviour that crossed the line was dealt with seriously and immediately by security staff with the offending patrons removed from the building. Managers were extremely supportive and very protective of the staff.
I wouldn't call CSEC an excellent organization by any stretch. They are far from the best employer I've worked for but they are also far from the worst. The contention that they don't care about their staff is a lie.

I'm pretty sure many of us have done cringe stuff in their life. I know I have. Life through from teens to late-20s can be hard to navigate and mistakes are made. Alcohol doesn't help.
Unfortunately, the best you can do after the fact is take ownership, apologize and take the opportunity to grow and be better.

This will be difficult for me to properly convey but I will try. Although a young women is more susceptible and should be more protected from harassment, this is not just a "men" issue as PuckSlap indicated. I have dozens of instances where women have behaved very inappropriate towards me. One instance that I will/can share was when I was 16, a hairdresser grinded her crotch on my hand that rested on the armrest of the barber chair, shielded by the hairdressing cape, while she cut my hair. Whether this happens to anyone, like the young women in the OP, it is inappropriate and unacceptable. I do applaud the messaging to speak up, say something, do anything and be a part of the solution.

I didn’t say they never did better, or that they are incapable of doing better, in fact I’m quite certain they can do much better. If there are multiple allegations of this type of thing happening without much action on the part of CSEC then there is clearly a problem.
I’m glad to hear you had a good experience while working for them but no offence given the nature of these allegations I really doubt a high school/university student was given very much information regarding how every one these matters were handled during their tenure working at the fanatic.
Regardless of whether or not these types of things used to be handled appropriately, according to a number of allegations in the Reddit thread that no longer seems to be the case. As fans we’re always criticizing this organization for all sorts of decisions they make regarding the on-ice product so I don’t think it’s off-side or unfair to be critical of decisions they make regarding the off-ice product.
I suppose whether or not this is enough to determine how much the organization actually cares about or values their staff is debatable. So if you want to share how much the organization that paid troy Brouwer millions to handicap the team on the ice paid you to sell a $300 jersey with his name on it off the ice we could probably have a much more in depth discussion about it.

I'm not sure how the CSEC can vet every attendee.
CSEC: "Do you like to grab women's private parts?"
Creep: "No."

I think the idea is that what is perceived as threatening by the victim is often perceived differently by the perpetrator. All men need to be constantly working to improve themselves, even if you aren't commiting outright assaults.
