I am expecting no slump from the Flames. They know whats on the line. They've been playing better every game as the series has gone on.

I'm not sure, in terms of chances and controlling the game, for me, that was the best they played in a long long time in the playoffs. Like the fact this team and particular the top guys, elevated their game in a crucial almost do or die scenario. Hopefully that gives them some confidence from here on out.

What a great game! This was a game where they left no doubt to who the better team is. The effort, focus, energy, all were on point. This is the team we have all watched most of the year. Awesome game!

Man, when the Flames play their game, instead of the Stars game, it's a beautiful thing to see

Well deserved win. The Flames were by far the better team. The series should be set up for the Flames to pull away now. I'm glad the gushing about the Dallas goalie is likely going to come back down to earth a little.

Had to miss the start of the game.

Heard Lucic challenged Benn at puck drop?

Fact?

Why?

I think that the Flames finally have their goal scoring mojo back.

Yep, this was the closest to regular season flames we've seen this playoffs. Not panicking with the puck, playing as a group, hard forecheck, you love to see it. Flames in 6.

What is Friedman talking about that not being a penalty shot, that was about as obvious as it gets. Direct stick to the hands on a breakaway.

I love Brady wearing the Friendship Tour t-shirt.

Also, something funny I realized, the Flames have 4 players with brothers in the NHL and none of the brothers made the playoffs this season.

Think the Flames finally found their legs tonight, for the first time in the series (I think period 1 of game 1 was a product of adrenaline and crowd energy).

Now Bowness can say Calgary "tried to run them out of the building", and that's exactly what happened.

The opening face off is exactly why I love a big body enforcer on the Flames. Lucic did his job and set the tone, after the words of Benn. Bieksa reiterated the importance of something as simple as the offer to dance. It allowed the other guys to just play hockey. Everyone on both teams knew what was going on. Looch!!!!!
