Goaltending was not the issue tonight.

It was ridiculous to think the Flames were not going to face some adversity down the stretch. The season is long and takes its toll.

We are not Colorado. This team needs to be firing on all cylinders to win.

I don’t know. If Flames were missing key players and/or playing on second night of back to back we’d hear a lot about it.

I guess my point is that I don’t see the opponent playing all that well in these recent games.

Ive been beating on the Play Vladar drum for a while now. Not because hes the man!.... but becuase as far as Im concerned you need Markstom rested for the playoffs. Or we could just play Markstrom every game for the rest of the way.

I agree we’d hear a lot about it
But I generally think it’s always given too much attention

Have to agree. There were things in their game that indicates that the team needs a reset where they get back to focusing on the basics that got them to where they are in the division. They've lost focus

Agree that Vladar should be getting more starts down the road. Got to figure out the PK. Special teams have to be sharp going into the playoffs. A bit concerned that we are seeing some concerning trends again with this group. Hopefully just a small rough patch and we’ll figure it out soon. Darryl can only do so much and some guys need to elevate their game. Not saying Markstrom cost us the game but he needs to be better.

You have a point. But if it means anything, you’d hope it would be towards the end of the game. Which makes this game and the Kings game so annoying.

A show about Darryl's adventures in Japan would be must-see TV

And just like that, BoLevi dissappears only to be heard from when the Flames lose another game.

I'm not opposed to giving Vladar a start right now because maybe it'll make the team play tighter defense. I think they can get too cocky when Markstrom plays and it leads to giving up ridiculous scoring chances that the other team doesn't give them in a tight game.

Once or twice!

Some of the takes tonight are just ridiculous

Flames have a better record than Colorado since the ASB too, some fans are ridiculous

Aside to the game itself, the sudden bite of the injury bug is a concern.

Center depth without Jarnkrok and Monahan (and Richardson) is not ideal.

May see Ruzicka after all.

The interview with Darryl was the saving grace tonight. Too bad it didn't get us any points, but apparently we have nothing to worry about. Glad to hear it.
