Honestly I don't know how the Flames just looked by the sub 50's on Brouwer and thought he'd be a good idea. Have to think Snow was ignored.

Hyman was on pace for 62pts in a full 82 game schedule. He's gonna get paid. Kind of disappeared in the playoffs, though.

Think he's gonna get closer to an RNH type deal.

I would like this more if the Flames got Eichel too.

A top line of Gaudreau - Eichel - Hyman, with Mangiapane - Lindholm - X or Mangiapane - Monahan - Lindholm as the second line would be pretty sweet. Good combo of skill and work ethic.

Hoping that Edmonton will overpay massively to get him, or Hyman will buy into what Sutter and Tre are selling enough to sign something that's only a slight/moderate overpay.

Ye gods, Hyman is quickly going to become one of the worst contracts in the entire league. David Clarkson bad. Hopefully he ends up in Edmonton after they buyout Neal, ensuring they'll never have the cap space to ice a competitive roster around McSprinkles.

Well, that would be tampering and I doubt his camp has spoken to the Flames. I think Treliving is too smart to go down that gopher hole.
