Hot take Scorp. Might want to compare him to some of the talent on the Flames. I mean, if you're going to put him down for only putting up 24 points last season, then maybe we could apply that same brush to someone who put up half that in similar time? This team needs another player with ability to make a pass and convert chances. Galchenyuk would have been an improvement over multiple players on our current roster.

You can say that again. Instead of these spots being overly occupied by dead fish like Bennett, Simon, Leivo, nordstrom and Ryan, a guy like Galchenyuk could actually benefit the PP and finish plays from time to time.
The guy is certainly an enigma, but at least he does produce at a level superior to the Flames numerous replacement level scrubs.
