So Looch scores tonight, Backlund scores then does the Looch celebration, then Dube scores on the PP and does the mean Looch face celebration thing.
It's amazing how much of a better fit he is with the team than James ####ing Neal.

In team / Fan relationships. The team is almost always the abuser,
Oiler situations where the fans are literally throwing $300 jerseys in the teams face are rare, in those cases you could argue the team is the victim (but that's almost enough to turn me into a victim blamer).

Aside from her inability to not say ‘Gutsy performance.... she has to be the most Captain Obvious analyst ever. It’s like a 12 year old is providing colour.
“As you see there, the goalie couldn’t get across the crease so they scored on the side of the net that wasn’t covered.”
Gee..... thanks Cassie, my eyes don’t work, can you maybe put a blinking red circle around the area that the goalie wasn’t covering just to make it perfectly clear?

The thing is most colour commentators regurgitate the same things all the time. As do most play-by-play people, and every single player interview is the same cycle of cliches.
I've heard as many commentators, players, and coaches say gutsy performance as anyone else. However, I've also noticed when Campbell talks about the Flames, the opposition, players, the play or the game, it's confronted with an aggression and distain never reserved for others.
And this isn't targeted at you specifically, pylon. Frankly, it's really good to see you back and posting on the semi-regular. This is just a general observation I've made as a fan regularly participating in the GTs. Cassie Campbell receives far harsher criticism on this forum than any other commentator, despite making the same calls and observations as any other, despite being viewed as a 'homer' by other fanbases.
I would say I suspect the reason, but I know the reason.

Actually, after the first period he basically ran three lines and let Nordstrom kill penalties. I liked that.

Not enough has been talked about this season about how good Lindholm has looked at Center.
12 points in 11 games.
Often playing against other teams top lines.
And is also 53.5% Corsi For and 54.5% xGF%.
We still need to figure out our best winger utilization on RW but with Tkachuk - Lindholm, Gaudreau-Monahan, Mangiapane-Backlund we are looking pretty good at C and LW this season.

Mangiapane and Lucic might just be perfect together. They both love to dig the puck, Lucic loves to go to the net and Mangiapane loves to throw the puck to that area. And Lucic, despite concerns from some, is a decent defensive player and can get the puck out of the zone fairly often by winning a battle and making the simple exit.

Shh. Other GMs might see this. We have to constantly build him up for a better return.
Bennett made Johnny and Monny better tonight.
