Have to give a shout out to Monahan in the defensive zone. He was noticeably good breaking up plays down low allowing that line to not get hemmed in.
Dude seems extra engaged this year.
Noticed he's talking a lot between whistles which is different for him (could have something to do with being able to hear each other without the crowd).

Hanifin - Tanev are really consistent. Vali is getting better and better. Nesterov needs to step it up as well as Andersson (they need to make clean exits and play better when they have puck on their sticks). Andersson has a great level and hopefully this win jumpstarts him (he has played lights out good for most of his career).
But the play in the defensive zone - I hate to be critical in a win but that is greatest area that needs improvement. Really too many giveaways and loose play, no look between the legs passes from the boards to no one, D men who don't get it out etc.
Leivo is getting better and better. Ryan is playing pretty good (could do better to make something happen in offensive zone but not his role).
Backlund has good moments and some lacklustre ones but as others have said he warms up.
Tkachuk and Lindholm are fighting it but Lindholm really stepped it up late. Monahan and Johnny consistently good and Mang came on later.
I don't know if it's game planning or what but the coaches need to step it up for how they forecheck and how they play loose in their end to start games.
I'm not trying to be negative or not celebrate wins but team is not putting great periods together. Inconsistent period to period. Had the lead late in the third...
Enough of that: Tremendous comeback, lots of heart to battle it back and tie it up. Just competed hard when deck stacked against them (0-2 after 1st on the road).
WPG is a tough opponent so just great job to eventually win that boys!

It's like you didn't even see the 3rd period which was largely a shooting gallery for the Flames. Not happy they gave the Jets a point but a win is a win.
I think he was being sarcastic(?)
Just by the 52-1.5 high danger scoring chances.
