This team is committing to defence like the Oilers were under Eakins. That's junior-level bad. Losing too many races to pucks, losing too many battles, and just not being aware enough in the defensive zones. Hawks are getting way too many great looks.



I at least hope this team comes out in the third period and finishes this game off the right way with effort and more awareness out there.

Defensively the team has been a tire fire. Some serious chances for the Hawks........breakaways, odd man rushes, guys open in the slot.....it's kind of baffling how they are just checking out mentally defensively.
