Great play by Flames. Lots of Flames fans in the barn. Go Flames Go competing with Go Canucks Go. Fin is a dumb generic mascot. Beers are good here. Very good. Promised my girlfriend I wouldn't be too bellicose with my section comprised of entirely Canucks fans. And I am holding steady.

It’s not close, Shorthouse grew up on Jim Robson who was a total pro. Always liked him, when I lived out there he was on the local Sports Page show, and always seemed like a nerdy kid that knew his stuff.

Count me among the Shorthouse fans. I'm really enjoying his call tonight.
Anyway, entertaining first period. I actually enjoyed watching it. It's been at least a few games since I've been able to say that.
