I'm going to credit the Rhino Party for taking out the real Maxime Bernier in his OWN RIDING.

In the spirit of the new Star Wars trailer, I'll call this the Clone Wars.

Am I the only one who hates this riding value thing? The popular vote should win.

SNC definitely shook my faith in left-wing politics, but the blackface thing was a total distraction that I don't believe would ever impact Trudeau and the Liberals the way everyone clamored for it to be. It was a very dumb thing to do...multiple times...but people are allowed to grow.

Frankly, I would be pretty upset if the childish things I did and said in High School were enough to crater me today. I carry enough regret to damage myself on a daily basis, but I'm proud that I've grown to learn just how stupid and narrowminded those views and actions were.

In the end I voted for the Liberals, not Trudeau, because their values most align with mine.

Statistical tie. Concentrated in ridings in the West. Don't take this Clintonian losers consolation.

From conversations I had a good amount of people don't see him as corrupt, or racist. In fact I had someone argue that Justin isn't racist because he didn't try to hide it, but Andrew is because he does hide it. I know, but that's the mentality of people that will twist logic so they can continue to vote Liberal.

The country is too big...being at the mercy of voters 2000km away doesn't seem to make much sense

I agree with the commentator who said that the conservatives hit buttons that prevent people from taking them seriously as a party.

I don't take them seriously as an option at all because of climate.

Not really my hot button issues but, I could very easily see people having similar opinions due to social policy or anti-labour economic rhetoric.

So when there are two potential governing parties and you don't take one seriously this is where you end up.

Conservatives leading popular vote yet down so many seats. Ya this format doesn’t need to be changed at all.

The problem is that we've elected to "die" when no one was asking us to get on our knees. People were just convinced they were by misinformation fed to them by right-wing media and interest groups like the Manning Centre.

Conservatives actually leading the national vote # by about 6000 as I type this. Just not efficient votes though. Dreading the Liberal-NDP alliance incoming.

On the bright side, Liberal/NDP voters in Alberta wasted their time

No, no and no. Then we'd have all political (and financial) resources concentrated in a small geographical area you might as well kiss your country goodbye.

Proportional representation wouldn’t work well for the Conservatives. They’d never have a chance at a majority.

Sure they could win minority governments but they’d need to work regularly with the other 4 parties to get anything done. Given how different their agendas are, it wouldn’t be easy.

There won't be a Liberal/NDP coalition.
