Man Neal got some serious hustle tonight! Saw him stop and make the smart play rather then risk a dangerous pass too, great stuff from him tonight! Team is gonna feed off that energy I think!

Got to think the organisation would prefer Smith winning back the stater job so Rittich would lose some leverage for the contract negotiation. But Smith would have to step up big time.

Sharks beat writer saying on Twitter that Thornton was working over gaudreau with his stick pretty good when the game turned and kane scored. I saw Johnny going at the refs after. Wonder if there is any footage

Smiths starts are usually in back to backs or times when Rittich needs a rest...likely why he isn't pulled. Some of you are reading too much into this
