There are very different levels of "bad games". a bad game for Rittich this season is a bad game for an NHL goalie. A bad game for Smith is a bad game for a shooter tutor. But anyway I suppose he kinda has to start against against Detroit since yet again the No Goods get to play an exhausted Flames team yet again the next night.

No idea how to verify this, but my guess is that never before in the history of the NHL has a goalie has a 0 save% through the 3rd period and into overtime.
Hard to accomplish actually.

Lol, no. They really weren't.
Eichel's OT goal was nice though, I'll give him that. That was a hell of a shot.

I know Eichel got that winner but it looks to me that they will have to pay Skinner to keep Eichel scoring. He just isn't that good. Too bad. He told me he was better than Mcdavid before he was drafted.

Loss on home ice feels so.....unfamiliar now. I guess that’s a good thing, take the loser point and on to the next one.

He's been almost a point a game for the last three seasons.

Rittich still hasn't lost in regulation at home this season.

The one time I can honestly say;
If I was in net after the 2nd period, I wouldn't have done any worse.

1 point is a small price to pay to make sure that the team is a little more focused going i to the weekend.
Rittich was as good as he needed to be but Ullmark was excellent. The saves on Frolik and Tkachuk would make the week's top 10 if he was wearing a Leafs jersey while making them.
Onto the next two.

Doing better than other "top" teams leafs and knights who've been losing in regulation lately. Hard to lose ground when you're scooping up points in your losses.

they had 3 shots as a team in the last 23 minutes, Flames couldn't have played much better defensively. Buffalo got some fluke bounces that got it to OT

I know Eichel schooled him in the face off dot if nothing else.

No Neal means Frolik with his 3rd most ice time of the season.
-2, 2 giveaways, and a couple badly missed chances.

IMO he was noticeably the worst player on the ice tonight.

His line had two goals, including the winner, not to mention a post on a breakaway.
I really don’t see how it’s ridiculous to claim that their line won the matchup.

Rittich needs to get back on track. He was alright but could have made at least 1 stop out of 3 shots. Needs to regain his focus..with allowing these high shots and last minute goals, I am getting a bit nervous. Is he tired?
