Wow. Very interested to see what Denis Gurianov does tonight on that top line. Intriguing pick from the 2015 draft.

I'm not seeing Czarnik as a second line guy in Neal's absence. I'd have thought Bennett gets another shot, or maybe Quine.

^ Which is why I think Neal will be in, just not at the pre game skate.
Czarnik has slotted in there before, but doesn't make much sense to fly up there in Neal's absence with Bennett present.

Flames are 5-5 in their last 10 in Dallas including 1 SO win.
They have lost their last 2 their with the most recent being a 2-0 shutout.
All-time in Dallas/MN the franchise is 32-43-11-3.

Well, I'm wrong.
Rare, but it happens.
On the plus side of things, with these injuries they aren't losing a lot of goals from the lineup.
On the down side, Prout.

Sounds like #Flames winger San Bennett is a question mark tonight. Could go 11 forwards and seven defencemen.

hopefully they can finally break the losing streak against dallas, who still don't have their number 1 d and 2 other regulars. would be frustrating if they lost again...

With Neal and Bennett out it is a good chance for Czarnik, Rychel, and Quine to prove their worth. Good players turn these opportunities into careers.

^ He's currently at a Dallas area hospital making that promise to a sick child.
"You'll delay the game...for me...won't ya Babe?"
Sure thing Billy. *tussles the kids hair*

Based on the length of Dalton Prout's morning skate, I doubt #Flames are going with 7 D in Dallas. Sure looks like Sam Bennett is a go against Stars. He says he's ready.

He took some stitches to the face last game, maybe a lingering injury?

Yeah if you get hit in the face like it’s possible there’s some damage to his cheekbone or jaw. Hope he’s ok.
