McDavid's style forces a lot of incidental contact. He skates through traffic areas that are crowded and there is no way to avoid sticks in the way.

I mean, good for him... it's what makes him so good. He manages to go through areas most players avoid, but the refs can't call every time there is incidental contact when he is the one initiating it.

Any parent whose child ends of playing for the Oilers might as well have given up at 13 anyways. Better for them to have cut their losses.
