Dead, on a slab. No.
You just proved my point. The kids are in part respnsible for their actions. The fact they are dead on a slab is wrong and the shooter should be punished for his actions.

I was commenting on your words to me: "Obviously this kid is beyond sympathy. He's dead, incapable of feeling."

Probably about 7 or 8.

If that matters at all.

Either way, Kids do some pretty dumb stuff... All i wanted to see was a train wreck... I would never in a million years think about possibly killing the conductor, spilling harmful chemicals, costing tax payers millions in clean up fees, and even possibly killing myself...

If the kids knew it was dangerous, they wouldn't do it... They just want to egg cars, get their laughs, and go on with life.
I agree.

But in this case the kid recieved severe consequences. Sure they weren't right..but it happened.

Let it be said that you will be shot if you egg someones car.

It certainly could be used as an example for parents...to explain the stupid things that can happen to you...if you do stupid things yourself.

Might even open some child's eyes.

Yep....most beautiful place in the world.

Wind is annoying...but I guess all those darn red lights going up all over the place(windmills) are a benefit.

Laugh. I'll get right on it.

You aren't going to shoot me over this, are you? I mean you would have an excuse, considering it was me who bolded the words and all, and you don't like that, but please, I repeat, don't shoot me.

Do you have a point besides your insults?

I think I made my point. You are the one that started with the grammar police action and trash talk buddy, not me.

No. You started it with your unfounded assumptions asking me what kind of gun did you use to kill the person responsible. You do know what they say about assumptions?

Grammar police? Don't make me laugh. I merely explained you didn't need to bold your words and cap some of them to make your point.

Isn't it amazing: all the problems in the world would disappear if everyone living in it was perfect. ..If those kids were perfect, and didn't throw eggs at that car. ..If that driver was perfect, and acted in a more reasonable manner.

Maybe, we should just go kill everyone who isn't perfect: Then the world wouldn't have any problems.

It appears I have comitted an error in these discussions.

In my efforts to point out that both are responsible for their own actions I failed to understand another persons point that the shooter is 100% responsible. I agree he is 100% responsible because his actions killed that kid.

Yet somehow my posts came out saying that because the kids share some responisibilty in the fact they egged the car the shooter was less than 100% responsible. I was wrong, those kids are in no way responsible for the shooting other than the egging of the car itself. The shooting was an unfortunate incident they had no control over.

Anyhow that's about all I have to say on the subject.

Wow, tough crowd.

So you didn't do anything stupid when you werew 14 or 15? Never?

What if this was your kid? Imagine the torment the parents must now be going through. What is stupid of these kids to be egging cars? Of course! Does it warrant death? Absolutely not!

Yes I did and I also suffered the consequenses of my actions. Some were pretty severe

If it was my kid i'd be beating myself up for not doing a better job as a parent of installing right and wrong with my kids. Not sure if I could live with myself.

And as I explained it does not warrant death.
