Rick Ball is ahead of Bennett on my depth chart right now. He is, simply out, more valuable to the Flames right now.

Kinkaid had a really nice save on Versteeg's attempt -- should have won it for the Flames but he made a great recovery to stop it with his pad.

No chance on the Monahan and Tkachuk attempts though -- just pure snipe.

Huge two points; really entertaining game to watch. Love seeing the top line create chances, 3M tilt the ice, and Stone blasting away from the blue line. Starting to get the mojo going...

I disagree. If you're going for it then you need to have the best available d man. Andersson will get his shot before the season is over, just like Janko has.

Good to see that Taylor Hall has salvaged his career in New Jersey!

Not true at all in a cap world. Compromises have to be made. It’s not like Hamonic is in our top 2.

Monahan’s shootout goal was filthy. Watching it again the puck leaves his stick in a split second and couldn’t be anymore accurate. Just filth.

I thought Stone looked lost defensively early in the game.

But once that goal went in for him, he went from 0 to 100 in swagger.

He normally doesn't play like that, hopefully he can keep it up.

I like the chemistry the 3 of them are developing and I feel it's way to early to be giving up on them.

Yay! 3 game win streak against 3 tough eastern teams. Damn this team is deadly after regulation.

Nice to get the win for smith, more bad goals in this game then all season.

Third line keeps gaining chemistry. It will come, not worried. Would love to see a comfy lead where we can feed lots of minutes to that line

Bennett with 8 shifts in the first. 4 in the second, and 4 in the third, and one in the third was 8 seconds long, and played 57 seconds in the last half of the third. Toss in a terrible penalty and a bad night again for 93.

Brouwer played almost 3 minutes of the last 10 of the third in comparison.
