The problem with Lazar is waivers. He has to be clearly on the team to make it in my opinion.

Yes, waivers is a problem for Lazar, but that is why he'll make the team IMO. Because if he gets put on waivers, he's a player who could get snapped up by another team. And after Tree spent a 2nd rounder to get him, I can't see him attempting to sneak Lazar through waivers to try and send him down, but have him wind up getting scooped up by another team instead.
Now, he may end up spending a bit of time in the press box here and there, but that's another matter.
