I feel like there's a subtle distinction to be made in that we know a lot of what he stands for, but we know he's going to hit a whole bunch of brick walls with stuff that just won't work. So the uncertainty is not in what he wants, but in what will happen.

He's a liberal who hijacked the Republican Party.
I think going forward most of the Dems supporters will like what direction he moves in, and since he's flying under the republican flag many of his supporters will like it too.

He stands for money. Lets see if he can get some money into Americans pockets.

No mention here yet of Trump appointing that giant piece of #### Bannon as his "chief strategist and senior counselor"?

He stands for Trump. Let's see if doing every possible to benefit himself will work out for the average American. Extremely doubtful.

Whether it's desirable or practical to do those things is beside the point.

This is exactly what I saw as well. While conciliatory in his tone, there was nothing in last night's interview to provide me with any confidence that Trump has the slightest idea about how to govern. He still appears far too impressed by the number of his Twitter followers or the margin of his electoral win than befits his new station.

To be honest, I didn't watch it, I only read it, but to me he sounds like a guy who obviously didn't think he had a chance of being here and is it "oh ####" mode.
He knows he's in way over his head.

Trump's win makes the last two episodes of South Park even more amazing.
He is quite literally Garrison, crapping his pants at the election results. I guess that makes Caitlyn Jenner Bannon?

Yup comments from his campaign have said he didn't know the actual scope of the job, and that they didn't even know that they'd have to put in their own whole staff, they thought that most of the staff would remain.
Obama's going to spend a lot more time with Trump than usual for an outgoing President I think just to make sure that the incoming people have a chance of being able to do the job.

If I was a 70 year old billionaire, I certainly wouldn't want to commit myself to that job and public service. I think for sure he is taking the win with mixed emotions and when I see and hear post election Trump, he does give the impression that he is a little scared.

We sure hope Trump keeps a bunch of Obama staffers
- signed people who want the Trump White House to be more leaky than the Iraqi navy.

Why would they want to stay? A lot of them probably have pretty sweet gigs lined up and that's just completely ignoring the obvious elephant in the room of staying and working for the polar opposite of their president.

To me it is obvious what Trump stands for and has been for some time:
Self-aggrandizement.
