Well, Vietnam wasn't good to my teams. :-(

I figured Anne and Tanya were out, because they basically were an after-thought until the end of the bartending task. I was hoping they would somehow pull it out, because it would have kept them in the game and I would have loved to see Jillian and Emmett eliminated.

At this point, I only dislike Jillian and Emmett and Frankie and Amy.

Call me crazy but I found their reactions over-the-top bordering on disrespectful. These contestants come in as outsiders, acting as if eating bugs / bats is the most horrifying thing in the world. C'mon, Man. You don't have to like it, but you can be more polite about it.

North Americans eat hot dogs and spam; we snip off the tip of our males' penises. It'd be hella rude if a foreigner came to visit and started throwing a hissy fit at these things we consider normal.

I don't totally disagree. Plenty of better examples IMO. To me, it seemed like most of the crowd that had formed seemed amused by the racers reactions.

I wish racers would get out of the habit of screaming and hugging judges after completed tasks on some legs. At times it seemed to be genuinely making them uncomfortable..

Quality episode. Nice scenery. Everyone got on the same flight to Canada, and the tasks were a good blend of mental/physical activities that allowed good teams to separate from the pack.

I said this went they went to vietnam. Jillian and Emmitt went to the airport 5 hours early.

That Jillian has to be the most annoying woman ever. When she commented that Emmitt is great at everything except being a boyfriend, all I could think is what utter and complete moron would want to be that cows boyfriend. She almost makes the show unwatchable.

Yeah,

They are starting to really annoy me, I'm glad Emmitt wanted to help Julie and Lowell but holding up Joel and Ashley was a crummy move. From next weeks preview it looks like Jill berates Steph and Kristin about the express pass.

I didn't watch BBCan but was she that annoying on it?

She was her least annoying self.
I think the dynamic is very enjoyable. The opposite of unwatchable.
That said, I'd be making no calls to her, ever.

It's funny watching the teams help each other, and stop and wait. So Canadian...

The next leg looks to have some big challenges.

Another hour and a half split from first to last -- well, last team not eliminated.


With the "continue racing" ending this week, there won't be any departure times next week, but it seemed like the split from first to last was more than a couple of hours, and the train schedule could be a big factor. Of course, there could be an overnight bunch-up once they get to Kingston, which would even the playing field again.


Unless they do something to really screw up, it looks like Steph & Kristen and Jillian & Emmett will be two of the final three teams. Any of the other teams could be the third team. At times, each of them has looked good and at other times, each of them has looked awful.

So, that seemed like the dumbest thing you could use an Express Pass to actually use an Express Pass on. Everyone got that challenge within 2 tries. It seemed both easy and exciting. A complete waste of an Express Pass

Joel & Ashley really struggled this week, and that was hard to watch, 'cause they are quickly becoming one of my favorite teams.

Yeah it was an odd choice for the Express Pass, I laughed when Amy seemingly pounded atleast 1 beer before the finish line only to continue racing.

Also Julie and Lowell are quickly becoming my favorite team to root for.
