But that's the thing, Trump is legitimately running on only two pieces of policy: The wall and the Muslim ban. His supporters don't care if the rest of the platform is communism, they care about a wall and banning Muslims (and obviously permanently is their preference, not a temporary ban). That's why when they say he "Tells it like it is", it's only on those things. Otherwise its all about the "great, terrific" things he's going to do, not anything specific at all. I said it before but he legitimately treats his supporters like idiots, and they almost joyfully accept it because of his hardline stances on two issues. I'm guessing if you polled Trump supporters the vast majority believe "White Genocide" is real.

According to a report from The New Yorker, Republican New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has been relegated to Donald Trump‘s “manservant,” even going out and fetching fast food orders.

That gem was buried in a piece from Ryan Lizza, detailing how Trump’s Republican critics have been forced to choose between supporting or opposing him.

And this new low is before the Orlando reaction so hitting 80% is still in play. I hope the GOP is looking into ####ing him over at the convention again, surely they badly want to.

Many GOP members are being very outspoken about how awful his post-Orlando speeches and interviews have been. More stories today along this respect and some GOP now saying "we pick our nominee in July. Right now we don't have a nominee." Former GOP senator LArry Pressler has endorsed Clinton because of her anti-NRA stance in the wake or Orlando and a desire to stop Trump (true Pressler is very much a centrist).

I wouldn't be shocked to see the GOP do a re-write of the rules at the convention using the ammo that Trump is so thoughtfully providing as the reason. Oh it would splinter the party but it has already splintered. At some point the adults need to stand up and say "i don't care how many delegates he has, this isn't right."

Poll done over the weekend has Clinton up by 12.

It's takes a grass roots revolt to stop trump now. The rules committee would have to unbound all delegates on the first ballot. Then the delagates would have to vote for someone else. And with Cruz basicly stopping his local delegate campaign the delegates added late would likely be pro trump.

It's a tough slog to do it but would be some awesome house of cards stuff
