Brosseau was unable to vote on the assisted dying bill. Because it was so upsetting. What a joke. You would think that an MP would be mentally tough enough to handle brushing shoulders. She just seems so.......... so NDP.

This is like the Wideman incident. Bad hit but it wouldn't have happened if Hamilton had just gotten out of the way. At least Hamilton finished the game.

I finally got a good look at the incident and events leading to it. It looks like the only one of the entire bunch that called it like it really happened was Elizabeth May.

Ruth Ellen Brosseau is "Vegas Girl" for those of you that didn't recognize the name.

This is going to have to wait though. Springs1 is back.

A safe space AND a penalty box? Probably need a quiet room for concussion protocol too if this sort of thing keeps up...

You guys are comical, just admit he was acting like a jerk. It's not his job to shove other MP's around.

We sure have some second rate "leaders" in the country. Embarrassing all around but Brosseau comes off as extraordinarily pathetic.

He was acting like a jerk. And he's apologized and it was embarrassing but the overreaction is ridiculous.

All true.

But

When you are the Prime Minister, it's not going to go away just because he said he was sorry.

That was decidedly not cool man.

Truthfully though, I'm more bothered by the storming across the hall and the "get the **** out of the way" comment than the physical part of it. Just a total and unnecessary loss of decorum, particularly in the context of the House.

The political opportunism and faux-martyrdom that followed is galling, but there's no good excuse for the PM's actions. Perhaps the bouncer training surging to the surface.

Did you actually listen to that apology?

I took it upon myself to assist the member who was being impeded on getting to his seat when the incident happened. If I offended anyone I hit in the process ... oops!

Apparently Brosseau should put on her big girl panties and learn to take a hit when the boss is in a mood.
