Just manually tracking. This isn't an official thing, it's just a tally of those who have disclosed their donations.

Anyone else get this?

Yes, retyped my card # a second time and it went through. Number was right the first time, but might have gotten a space a the end or something.

That's the problem though. He shows up: "he's just here to take selfies and get in the way!" He doesn't show up "he doesn't care about Alberta and should've been here yesterday!"
Its a no win situation really.

Only counting the company matches that are disclosed. I am not counting Provincial and Federal dollar matching, just he disclosed amounts in this thread or in PMs.

I think the other thing to consider is they probably don't want it to look like a political photo op. Canadians would crucify the Liberals if it were to be perceived this way.

My company in Edmonton has a fair bit of empty office space due to the recession.
Any idea if there are people/companies that would like somewhere to work? It is an engineering type office. I may send a note to APEGA as well. We can provide phone, internet, space and maybe a coffee or two.

I have been digging into this a bit more. Consider that the Government of Canada has said they'll match "individual donations" to the Red Cross.
EDIT: Someone I know is looking into this for maximum effect, will report back. The issue is whether corporate or partnership donations receive matching, which is important to maximize the benefit.

I am in for $500 plus my company will be matching that amount.
I love the get 'r done attitude of this province and industry. I know that we will come out of this even stronger.
