Not sure why they named three goalies, since chances are Price won't end up playing. Why not leave more flexibility, and avoid any chance of annoying Luongo or whoever they didn't pick.

Who they picked as the third goalie is important enough to complain about.
Considering the projected starter is currently battling a long-term injury, I'd say it's relevant. Didn't say it's something to get up in arms about, but it certainly got an eyebrow raise from me.
EDIT: When I responded I had only seen cody's response to mine. Since posting, I see this has been discussed at length underneath already. Good to know Lou has been contacted and is on call

Crawford is a great goalie. Up there among the league leaders in SV%, GAA, wins, shutouts... He has two Stanley Cups and he should have a Conn Smythe trophy (got robbed in 2013, IMO), so he knows how to win the big games. If this guy was the starting goalie, I'd still be extremely confident that Canada would win this tournament. Maybe not as confident as I would be in Price, but he'd be second.

Personally, I have Holtby ahead of Crawford

I get that some people are very passionate about jersey designs and you obviously hate these and that's fine. Perhaps we are talking about different things.
Spoiler!
I said piping you said striping. Totally different and unrelated IMO. I said I was glad the piping was gone and you quoted me saying they have striping. I mentioned that they are different things. I'm not being patronizing I was just trying to politely correct you since you seemed to infer that I was saying that piping = striping.
I would say that you pretty much only talk about the logos in your complaints. That is a bit different. I'm looking at the actual jersey, not so much the logos, which I agree leave something to be desired.
Here is what I'm talking about:
Awful trapezoid shapes, or whatever the hell those are on the sleeves of the home and away, on this Sens jersey:
Spoiler!
Awful vertical piping on Avs jersey:
Spoiler!
this showcases ugly colors (pee gold instead of yellow), weird shapes on arm, weird shapes on pants:
Spoiler!
Then of course the Flames. Perhaps the worst offenders. Weird shapes under the arms, bad vertical piping, nonsensical vertical stripes under arms that don't extend far enough and clash with the vertical stripes on pants. :
BTW here is the icethetics article where I took most of the bad jersey pics from. Their solutions are pretty good. Lots of classic features. Classic colours, horizontal stripes on arms and bottom of jersey, no funny shapes (that Coyotes jersey has funny shapes but in the context of the aztec looking stripes).
Nah, don't hate them. Not passionate about jerseys either. Passionate about aesthetics, I suppose, as it's how I pay my bills. '06 era Reebok big time stinks. These also mostly stink. Not only the logos, also the stripes, the lack of stripes, the soccer-ness, the branding, the 50/50 vertical split, and so on.
Will this tournament be the debut for the "new" goalie equipment? I have been searching for some solid news about what it will look like, and when we will get to see it, with few results. I cant imagine they wont be wearing it, since the new rule is supposed to be imposed for the 2016-17 season. Still the internet hasn't shown me what the difference will actually be (I could just be bad at interneting).

That would be awesome if it were true. I just wish they were doing the stretchy goalie jersey initiative so that goalies couldn't just use the jersey under the arm to assist in saves.

NHL/NHLPA settle on SAP as World Cup of Hockey jersey sponsor: source. Jerseys will feature ads on shoulders. NHL will gauge fan reaction...
I'm sure the word SAP on the front of the jerseys will make everyone feel better about wearing ads someday.
Not sure how everyone else feels, but I was not interested at all in this tournament 6 motnhs ago. Worried about it even. Worried about injuries, etc. Must be the lack of hockey but I find myself actually looking forward to this now.

So, it will just look like the world championships then. Oversized SAP rectangular patch slapped on the shoulders.

Esthetically, the patch sucks. Unlike the Flames jersey, a flag patch would actually make sense.
...and it had to be SAP. Does anyone refer to SAP without an expletive before it?
!^($#% SAP.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
