Actually they got him off the Hawks for Liam Coughlin, who was a former Oilers' 5th round pick.

Basically they hit the reset button on that whole thing.

Oilers acquired Nilsson from the Blackhawks for Liam Coughlin who was the Oilers' 2014 5th round pick.

The Blackhawks had previously acquired Nilsson as part of the Leddy to Islanders trade.

Yeah I think the Flames are stuck with Hiller until the end of the season. Big cap hit for a backup and he suck too most of the time.
