If it's not over I hope the media just backs off and lets the police do their investigation.

The leaks or stories from "sources" are all just ridiculous and have helped to turn this case into a circus.

In reality now there will be no justice for either party, Kane will righly or wrongly have this attached to him for the rest of his life, and the accuser will likely never get her justice if there was in fact any wrong doing.

Just a mess all around.

I think so too. People have been condemning the fact that Kane has been getting the benefit of the doubt thus far, but thats really only because there was doubt, that doubt has grown by leaps and bounds in the last 24 hours and quite honestly the accuser is coming across as not-credible.

If this goes to a grand jury to determine whether or not to charge him with a crime I think it'll get kicked out the door so fast its not funny.

Yeah, this makes things even worse. The lawyer, presumably the daughter and some other people have information suggesting that the mother tampered with evidence in order to either charge Kane with a crime or at the very least provide leverage for settlement negotiations.

This woman has committed a crime by tampering with evidence and there are people who know it and further, if its just settlement leverage she was after then thats basically blackmail, another crime.

So now its probably going to be like this from Kane's side:

"Go away or your mom gets charged."

I just got a Score update on my phone saying that the DA has released a statement that the evidence has not been tampered with, so proper lip-service has been paid.

Regardless though, looking at everything going on, they didnt want to charge Kane with a crime before this dog and pony show really hit top gear, they wanted the Grand Jury to decide, at this juncture unless the accuser comes up with something pretty solid and irrefutable I cant imagine any Jury wanting to go ahead with charges.

But then what do I know, we're just waiting for more clowns to get out of the car at this point.

Right now the DA's office probably wants this to go away just as badly as everyone else, their Police Department and Office are just getting keel-hauled through the mud at this point.

Lol this case is such a joke now. Maybe accusing Patrick Kane of rape was part of the mother's elaborate plan? Giving #### advice to her daughter....

Profit on her daughter being Kane's one night stand. Now this hypothetical situation doesn't even seem preposterous.
